Yay, watched Code Blue on TV! Don't really understand half of it..

Yesterday, went to crash into two classmates' room. A lot of people gathered and ate dinner together ♥

Just watched an Arashi show. It's the one where MatsuJun and Nino went to take care of a pro wrestler's infant. So cute and funny!!
Haha, none of them worked!! ROFL!!
Mealtime was sweet XD

So many Arashi around right now...

Went there with a group of classmates.
Mostly went to the unofficial JE shops.
Want to buy all the Maruyama/Kanjani8 stuff >.< But at the end, I only bought a Maruyama fan just so I can use it XD Will think about buying more at the end of the month. Probably after going to the real one..
Saw a foreign fan in one of the shops. I wanted to ask if she has LJ... XD But didn't talk to her.

P.S. To tell the truth... After the concert, I don't care about staying in Japan anymore... -_-

Wow, good timing. Got to watch the full episode on TV!

Each member told a story.

Nino received a birthday present from the members. The present is...a magic set! There was a group picture. The magic set contained a hat, a wand, and a giant red bow XD Nino wearing the hat. Another member held the bow up to him, making it look like he was wearing it XD
Back to the show, Nino was like, "Please move to the next story" XD

Nino performed magic. He asked Jero to assist him ^.^
Matsumoto-san went like, "Ninya nya," reference to some comedian duo XD

One Love is an all right song. I'll listen to it more when I get back.

Ah.
Watching a SMAPxSMAP episode now. OMG, Percume O.o;;;

My first JE concert. My first concert in Japan. My first concert with artists that I like. Even though it was in Tokyo Dome, I had made my first concert a Kanjani8 con. I'm so happy that I went! I'm definitely fully supporting Kanjani8!

I love their uchiwa!!! They're soooo funny! Subaru wrote, "Sibaru" above his name. Ryo wrote extra o's plus three exclamation marks after his name on his, so it looked like "Ryoooooooooooo!!!" XD Maru wrote "pa-----*some scribbles and arrows*" Yoko wrote "Arigatou" on his. So plain. On the other hand, Murakami filled up his with words XD Ookura advertised his drama.

Wait. Yoko has a new drama?

Not writing a full report because I was too absorb at the concert to try to memorize everything. But this summary is Maruyama biased, because I concentrated too much on him XD

Going to Tokyo Dome by myself wasn't so bad. I was pretty nervous because it was the first time traveling in Japan on my own (since I arrived here yesterday...). But luckily, there was a girl carrying an Eito bag so I ~~stalked~~ followed her.

Once arrived... The fans were AMAZING!!! Soooo many ranger cosplayers!!! I saw a little kid wearing one, so cute! I saw a guy wearing the green one. He's so cool! XD My friend told me that she saw a family of eight children each wearing a ranger outfit (What an obsessed okaasan o.o).

Went to watch with littlebit_liz. Thanks A LOT to her for getting the tickets!! It was so fun to go with someone ♥
We met around 2 --> bought goods (the line was pretty quick) --> got something to eat --> went to the bathroom --> listened to Kanjani8 songs that a shop was playing until it was time to go in. We went in an hour before the concert starts. The waiting time was the worse T_T We were thinking they should play Kanjani8 songs so the time goes faster..

The sitting was too far so it was a bit hard to identify some members. The view was good though.
The seats were 307 and 308, haha! XD

The fans sitting next to me were Uchi fans. They made an uchiwa with a pink helmet on the top and the word "Hiroki" underneath the helmet. And small mugentai's with the rest of the colors.

There were a lot of songs they played that I liked ^.^

Wow, can't believe they performed Naniwa Iroha Bushi..

- Ookura x Yasu moment.

- OMG, THEY DID THEIR INTRODUCTION IN RAP!!! Like Arashi and NEWS.

- Murakami asked the males to shout. I was amazed by the loud response. So cool!

- SWORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So cool!! <--loves people with swords.
And OMG, they did a bit of swordsfights!! The best!! <--really love swordsfights.

- Ookura did a taiko performance. So cool~~

- Couldn't really understand the MC part. Partly because I didn't concentrate hard enough since I still wasn't convinced I'm actually seeing them live. Yoko talked most of the time.. The story has Maru involved several times.. But when they finished, Maruyama stayed behind. Murakami told him to go but he refused. He said something while Murakami kept telling him to go back. The last words he said were like the sound of a baby refusing something, "yiah, yiah, yiah" XD Then, he made a ~~strange~~ face, ROFL XD The face stayed for a veeery long time, lol. At the end, Murakami told him to introduce the next part.

- Yasu and Subaru's duet. They sounded good, but it was just the song that I didn't like.

- Ookura and Nishikido's sexy duet. It was...sexy... But when the song ended...stealing littlebit_liz's words:
Ohkura did the last little dance move by himself, while Ryo just stood there. So when the song ended, Ohkura went, 'Oi!' and Ryo was like, 'What's wrong?' and he said it kind of softly. Then Ohkura yelled something at him (I'm not sure what), and THEN-
The light's went red and Ryo stripped his costume. Underneath was...Sousuke's outfit! He punched Ookura and some stuff happened and then, he went on top of him, LOL! "Fake making out" XD

- Murakami, Yoko, and Maruyama's song. I loved it!!!! It was slowish but the rap and the music made it up. I love Maru's rap. Wow, he created this song...
Yoko and Maru stood on a really high stand when singing. Maru was like across from our section T_T Yoko was kinda close though.. But Maru...

- Instrument part:
Ookura is the best drummer. Ever!
Maruyama is the best bass player! He jumped a lot whenever he played throughout the concert.
Really. When I watched them play, I was sooo absorbed like they were absorbed into playing the intruments.
Yasuda was pretty cool.
Well, he's good too. It's just that I don't feel anything much compared to the other two.

- Yoko stole Yasu's sign board and threw it at the audience XD

- Encore: Mugendai and Wahaha.
When they came out, Yoko was like, "What kinds of things do you want to see?" ^.^

- Yoko told the audience to hold hands with the person next to him/her. We all raised up our arms while the members did the same. I really like this part ♥

- Maru threw two of his towels. Kinda sad that he couldn't throw them that far away..
Two sign boards (forgot whose) reached around our row. But...not at the right seats..

- During the Dreaming Blood encore, Maru went in full Maru mode XD Plus, he did it on the path in front of my section, which was neat! This was the best moment ever!!! ...If this counts as a favorite part of the concert... XD He did pa~n with the people in front of our section ^__^
Oh, at the beginning of the song, he moved weirdly and then slid weirdly towards Ookura(?) while Ookura sang his part.. XD

Oh yeah, there weren't any introductions and performances from the juniors.

While walking to the train station, we saw someone selling towels! Not official but we bought them anyway XD There was even an Uchi one!!

So tired~ I actually sweated from bouncing too much XD I held back until it was Maruyama's turn so that I could save my voice from hurting XD
Was upset that there wasn't a ranger skit. When Yoko announced that this was the last song, I was like, "This con is short." XD Couldn't feel like it's a full con because of the ranger skit. I think other people wondered about it too because they shouted, "Ehhh?!"
I'm definitely try going to more Eito con in the future! Sorry to KAT-TUN and NEWS and other artists...

I didn't know they all wore a ring in their Wahaha performances. ...What do their rings look like...? I still haven't decided on how to make the jacket. Buy an orange jacket and add a zebra pattern on? Or get a zebra pattern jacket first? Or get two jackets and try to put them together...

Wow, they're still showing that.. Listening to the theme songs made me feel a bit nostalgic. They're up tp the Rikkai match. Sanada vs Ryoma today.

Felt weird to hear the Chinese dub. They almost finished showing the series. (The one I watched was episode 9.)

The NHK channel was cool. I didn't like that they kept showing the same news over and over again throughout the whole day. Wished they would show more non-news stuff, which won't happen... But there was this one show that surprised me. It's called Kaitaishin Show (or The Human Body), with Kokubun as one of the regulars. What is the most surprising thing is that the show is in English dubbed o.o
The show was interesting. The people talk about the mysteries of the human body. For example, "Why do people find babies cute" and "Why do the face puffs up?"
There's another show where two hosts talk about games and anime/manga. I watched the one where they talked about stimulation games. There was one part where the director(?) talked about stimulation games for girls. He said something about two guys and I was like, "BL?" XD But he finished the sentence with, "...treat you like a princess.." I was like, "Oh, that kind."

P.S. Aww, so many dramas that I really want to watch...

Saw and bought an orange t-shirt that had the words "Summer Time" written across at the front. I was like, "Wow, it's like two in one!" XD
Also, saw a wristband with 6 Eito colors!!! So close! (No black nor pink.) Bought it anyways ^.^

Got a cell phone. I put some Kanjani8 stuff in it XD Hm...not a lot of Kanjani8 ringtones/sounds in the community... And also need a wallpaper..

I know I should write trip reports but...don't have time. I'll probably have to write them when I return to NY.
Read all the comments and emails. Will reply whenever I have time.

anime_miz, there aren't a lot of stores left in HK that sells anime DVDs so I might have to buy the originals in Japan. Sorry.. I saw old anime DVD/VCDs on the shelves but no Dr. Slump, which I found weird...

To the people who are planning to meet up in Japan:
I'll probably use a phone card to call people. Or use the phone at the dorm.

I'm not sure how much internet accessablity I'll have in Japan. I can go online tomorrow. I think it'll be the last day. 801megane, I still have no idea on what kind of special stuff you wanted. I'm hoping I have the chance to send you a list of stuff they have.

Met with chibi15 for the first time on Friday. It was fun! Wished that there are more interesting places to go to...
I really liked the J-Friends store here. The displays were pretty and they showed some videos that had Johnny's in them (like Music Station with TegoMasu as guests and Tackey & Tsubasa's Koiuta PV). Wow, they even had the NEWS Nippon single...

The playlist they had on the plane was awesome!!! It had SMAP's Sono mama, Arashi's Step and Go, NEWS' Taiyou no Namida, and Kanjani8's Wahaha! Haha, they didn't have KAT-TUN... Why..........?
I listened to the whole playlist just to hear Kanjani8 and NEWS, even though I can listen to them on my player... XD

June 20th:

- On the line for getting the badge, two guys behind me and 801megane were talking a lot and very loud. They saw a lady dressed up as a box of strawberry Pocky and one of them shouted, "It's Pocky!!!". The Pocky lady was so happy that she gave him a pack. Then, he hugged his friend (cosplayed as Light) and cried, "Oh my god, Pocky gave me Pocky!!"

Few moments later, the Link plush fell on the ground. He yelled at Light to pick it up. He said, "I can't pick it up. My hand's busy holding Pocky!" Light finally picked up Link. But then, he said that he'll write Link's name in the book XD XD

- Gravitation panel. The guests were the voice actors of Shuuichi (Rich McNanna) and Tohma (Bill Rogers).
McNanna is also a middle school teacher as well as an actor. He told interesting stories about his experiences in both careers. I remembered he told us that Gravitation was listed in the Scholastic Book Fair catalog XD He was funny.
Rogers was also interesting. He didn't talk as much.

- Rentrer en Soi live:
I listened to some of their songs beforehand just to get the idea of what the songs sound like.
Their songs were good. I'm not that into J-rock but I like some of their songs. The only thing I did like was the loudness. Felt like I could go deaf at any moment.
They performed like half an hour longer than the scheduled time. So many encores.
They threw lots of stuff at the audience: water; water bottles; drumsticks; a round, thin thing... I think one of the members threw the gum he chewed... Or was that something else... And some other stuff that I couldn't see (Too far away)..
The live was fun.
Too bad I missed the questions and answers section the next day. Was kinda curious on what they said.

June 21st:

- Eito rangers cosplay. Only Blue, Green, and Orange..

- Blue had to leave early so Orange spent most of the time with Green. OhMaru..
...I've never seen any real OhMaru stuff... Well, not a lot of that pairing.

- Green and Orange learned para para dances. Couldn't keep up with it anymore so left early. It was fun though. And a bit embarrassing..
Hm... Eito doing para para...

- Kyou Kara Maou panel.
The three hostesses cosplayed as main characters from D.Gray-Man. The main hostess cosplayed as Allen.
Allen gave out spoiler warnings, told people to cover their ears if they don't want to hear spoilers. And she danced a bit after the spoiler talk was over.
There were Yuuri and Wolfram cosplayers. They were told to do the scene where Yuuri slapped Wolfram, the spork fell, and Yuuri picked it up.

- Went to the Jmusic panel but...canceled T_T It seemed like the most interesting panel...

- The masquerade:
Err... I'll update this part later.

- Yaoi panel. Same hostesses from the Kyou Kara Maou panel.
Two real guys kissed in front of the audience.
Renji and Kanda kissed.
Gave out yaoi stuff as prizes.
Corn.
The hostesses didn't know what to do for the last prize, which was a Light x L doujinshi. A few people in the audience were willing to make out in the front for the doujinshi. Ended up being a battle for the best kisser. They all attacked Allen XD

June 22nd:

I apologize to my friends for being...not there. Less sleep = slow brain process. And was a bit bored.
Part of me wanted to go to karaoke instead... Chose to stay even though wanted to sing badly.

Forgot about the Japanese commercial panel.. The event was too early.. It seemed interesting...

Liked the Manga Madness panel.
They mentioned Suppli, Dragonzakura, and Drifting Classroom! Had to restrain myself from shouting non-anime related things XD
Felt almost awake by the end of the session.

Show that reference panel:
Interesting.
Learned more about Japan and the culture. Kinda wished that they would move on quicker..

The bus ride back to NYC was...weird. A few people around me and 801megane started to talk about Naruto x Sasuke. And then, they talked about Naruto. And then, yaoi... When we almost arrived at the city, one guy apologizes to the people who didn't go to the convention (aka non-anime fans) XD (I think there was a few..)

Wow, have noticed that my interest in anime has...gone down so much... I'll only go if there's cosplay and if the artist guest is good. Not sure about the mangaka and the seiyuu.

It was fun.

Short summary:
- Some guy cried, "Oh my god, Pocky gave me Pocky!!"
- Got hugged by L for wearing a TeniPuri uniform.
- ~~Torturing~~Carrying a big Ryoma plush (even though I was wearing a Hyoutei uniform).
- Rentrer en Soi threw garbage at the audience during their performance.
- Just laid down on a king size Hyatt Grand Brand™ bed. Very comfy ^.^

Aiaigasa is ok. Hm...not so sure. I don't think I would like the song if it wasn't for their voices. I like their harmony in this song. My most favorite out of the single is Bokura no Uta ^.^

On Friday, my friends and I went to Best Buy. We played Lego Indiana Jones while waiting for a friend to decide and buy something. We fell off the cliff allllll the time (both accident and on purpose)! XD You can fall off the waterfall!!! XD And then, the time we went into the cave... It was too dark to tell which one was the path and where the cliffs were.. The game was really fun!! XD

I'm going to HK. Leaving on the 24th and coming back on August 17th. Furthermore, I'm going to Japan!!! My parents applied me to some study abroad program. Will leave on July 5th and return on August 3rd.

To the people in flist who are in Japan: Want to meet up? You can give me a tour ^.^ And do karaoke XD

I don't think I can go to Kanjani8's Tokyo Dome concert... I don't know... I'd have to ask the people in charge.. Why can't the two schedules match up T_T
Hm...I wonder if I could buy the tickets in advance just in case... Is anyone in flist going and doesn't mind having an extra person tagging along? There's a possibility that I may cancel it at the last minute though.. But there are people at the Dome who'll want tickets.

Hm...wonder if I can attend a TeniMyu...
